NAVEGA ENVIRO ENGINEERS & CONSULTANTS was established in 1977 by Professor Sri R.P. Venkataiah and other professionals as consultancy company dealing with Environmental Engineering and Pollution Control. Over the last 15 years and more the company has earned good name in this particular field in the southern states of India such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and Kerala. The consultancy services and treatment plants have been given to the whole range of industry including toxic wastes producing industries such as leather, distilleries, sugar, pharma, textiles etc., the company has very satisfied clientele who have kept us as retainers for their units.
NAVEGA is registered as Consultants in the Pollution Control Boards of all the states in South India and Maharashtra including Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi.
The Consultancy services include Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environment Management Plan (EMP) and Environmental Audit. In the case of consultancy a detailed impact study various effluent streams are studied and a treatment method is proposed along with flow diagrams, civil engineering drawings, machinery and equipment specification and submitted to the Pollution Control Board for clearance. Some of these works are also taken up on turnkey basis where in civil constructions, erection of machinery and commissioning of the effluent treatment plant is taken up on time bound programme, imparting of training to the maintenance staff is also provided.
The Company also conducts environmental impact assessments, which is a study of the overall impact of the particular unit on air, water, land, noise, socio-economic and biological environments within 20 kms radius of the proposed unit. After studying the area detailed report is prepared along with the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), which is submitted to the respective pollution control boards.
The Company also takes up regular Environmental audits for various units which involves collection of data on raw material consumption, material balance, mass balance energy consumption, safety aspects, water consumption, the amount of waste generated, stack monitoring and ambient air quality etc. The proposal is made with a report on waste minimization of solid and hazardous waste management of any industry as per the notification issued by the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
